SignalSeverityEventDescriptionThunderstormDanger! More severe thunderstorms can be expected. In addition to lightning, the wind and hail accompanying the thunderstorms are also a risk!

🌤 Although the sun was still shining this morning, cumulus clouds are already swirling in the background – as if they are gathering for a celestial battle. The first half of the day may still be dry, but the vibration of the air already reveals that something is brewing.

According to HungaroMet, the biggest danger is lightning, but strong winds and hail cannot be ruled out either.

The temperature during the day ranges between 19 and 24 degrees, it may be a few degrees cooler in the northeast. However, the temperature will drop back to between 10 and 17 degrees at night, and an even stronger cooling will come on Thursday.

🌧️ Tomorrow: the front breaks in

A strong cold front will arrive from the north on Thursday. This front will bring rain, showers, and thunderstorms to almost the entire country – especially the southern and eastern parts of the country will play a prominent role in this storm theater.

The daytime maximum is between 19 and 25 degrees, but after the front passes, a significant cooling is expected everywhere.

🧠 Nature reminds us: we are just guests
Meteorologist Ágnes Kovács said this:

“Nature always reminds us of how fragile and unpredictable our world is.”

This sentence is not only about fronts and hail. It is also about us. About us, who sometimes forget that everything can change in an instant. A storm is not just a splash – it can be a source of economic damage, and it can even endanger human lives.

☝️ What should you do now?

Pay attention to the forecasts – don’t ignore the warnings!

Pack waterproof clothing if you’re going on a trip!

Don’t park under a tree or next to a construction site if hail is expected!

Close the windows, secure the balcony, terrace!

🌀 The final word:

Let’s learn to live with change
Weather is not just meteorological data. It’s a mood, a memory, a fate-changing event. Today’s storm could be a soggy picnic – or a ruined crop. But one thing is for sure: we can’t control it, we can only respect it.

So don’t just watch the sky – look inward too. Learn to accept what you can’t control and be prepared for anything. Because life is like that: sometimes it’s sunny, sometimes it’s stormy. And all we have to do is open an umbrella… or dance
